Flinders/James

Welcome to MRs. Flinders & Mrs. James 4th Grade Class

A LITTLE ABOUT MrS. Flinders.....

Mrs. Flinders: This will be my 11th year teaching at Jefferson Academy! I honestly couldn’t be working in a better place! I graduated from Weber State in 2010 with my teaching degree, along with a math endorsement. I love math and admit that I do it just for fun sometimes! In my spare time I love to read, hike, organize, cook, and go to Chick-fil-a. My goal for this school year is to not only make sure that my students academic needs are met, but also their emotionally and social needs as well. I hope to get to know each one of their individual needs and help them reach their full potential as a 4th grader!

My name is Mrs. Flinders as you can see.
I love teaching school, staying positive is key.
In 2010, I graduated from Weber State.
Elementary Education and Mathematics were always my fate.
I love to going hiking, cheesy workout videos, and run.
Also, laying on the beach in the warm, bright sun.
Reading, reading, and reading some more.
I can't get enough of the words that make my mind soar.
Cooking and cleaning help me to distress.
Cafe Rio or Chick-Fil-A when I don't want a mess.
Anything pink or lime green puts a smile on my face.
Chocolate makes me happy, that's always the case.
But enough about me for what's really the key,
is for me to help you be all you can be!

A LITTLE ABOUT MRS. JAMES.....

Mrs. James: I got my teaching degree from Weber State and I love teaching! I am a mom to four children (two boys and two girls). I hope to share my love of learning with my students in a safe and happy classroom atmosphere. Some of the things I enjoy outside of the classroom are skiing, reading, horticulture, trips to Hawaii, going to concerts, and spending time with my family. I’m looking forward to an amazing year and feel so privileged to be a part of helping your child learn and grow!

Class Motto
