Welcome to Mrs. Skidmore's
4th Grade Class!
This is my 2nd year teaching 4th grade at Jefferson Academy. I have worked at this school for the past 4 years as a general education teacher, Spanish teacher, SEM teacher, and T.A. I graduated from Utah State University with my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and completed my student teaching here at Jefferson Academy with the fabulous, Mrs. Laird. Currently, I am working on completing my master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband, puppy, family, and friends. I am a lover of outdoor activities such as running, hiking, rock climbing, and camping. Sitting down with a good fantasy/fiction book is my favorite way to de-stress. Some of the little things in life that make me happy include music (especially live music), Crystal Light Energy packets (strawberry flavored), movie nights with lots of movie popcorn, dark chocolate, and flowers.
Class Motto
Working hard is important, but there's something that matters even more... believing in yourself. -Harry Potter-
