September 22,2017

We had a great week here at school. We finished up our unit about Layers of the Earth. They will have a test on Monday! We are excited that our Mountain Man Rendezvous is coming up early in October. Please be on the look out for ways to volunteer. We love seeing the students becoming such great friends. We have seen many acts of kindness, and love that we have such sweet students! We will be sending out midterms soon, we will email you when those are being sent home. Have a great weekend!

Week 4

This year we are focusing on "7 habits of Happy Kids" to create successful students. This month our focus is being proactive. In fourth grade we are learning what this means and how we can apply it to our lives. We are learning how to have a "can do" attitude, listen and follow directions quickly, and trying the best in all we do. We have seen so many students who are proactive by turning in their homework on time, trying new things even when they are hard, and doing their best on all of their work. We will continue to work on this habit for the month of September. We encourage you all to find ways for your child to be proactive at home too!

Week #3

We had another great week! We are well into academics but still reviewing rules and procedures. Ms. Jeppson/Mrs. Shepard’s Class worked so hard and set a new record for earning a party. They did it in only 12 days. Wow! They had fun celebrating their “P-Day” Party. The other classes are well on their way to earning a party too! We had fun doing an experiment in science to review the scientific method. They also enjoyed comparing and contrasting maps and globes in History. We hope you all have a fun and safe Labor Day!!!!

First week of school

Wow! What a fun first full week of school. We are beginning to learn our new school routines, and students are doing an awesome job listening and following directions. It was so much fun to go out and look at the solar eclipse on Monday. What a great memory to have made together! We can't wait to keep learning new things next week!
